Whether you’re a newcomer to OpenLaszlo or an experienced pro, Laszlo offers primary training courses that will take you to the next level of skill and productivity.

We currently offer the following four classes:

I. OpenLaszlo Fundamentals: A two-day, in-class course that introduces the fundamental concepts of building applications using the OpenLaszlo platform. Student participation is strongly encouraged, and there is plenty of lab-time where students become proficient with writing in OpenLaszlo’s mark-up language, LZX.

II. Building OpenLaszlo Applications: An intensive, five-day course that covers advanced concepts and methods in building complex applications using the OpenLaszlo platform. This course is conducted in-class and OpenLaszlo Fundamentals or a firm grounding in LZX syntax and methodology are required.

III. NEW! Building OpenLaszlo Applications in Webtop: An intensive, three-day course that covers Webtop concepts and data architecture. This course provides hands-on experience in building a Webtop, simple skinning, data integration, authentication and SSO. OpenLaszlo Fundamentals or a firm grounding in LZX syntax and methodology are required.

IV. Onsite Training: Both the OpenLaszlo Fundamentals and Building OpenLaszlo Applications courses, as well as customized training programs, can be conducted onsite. This is ideal for customers looking to jumpstart whole teams of OpenLaszlo developers, taking them from the basics to advanced development techniques.
