Webtop delivers users a web-based workspace—or “webtop”—that consists of multiple modular components that integrate with each other, providing extensive visual styling and branding. For example, a company’s brand can be applied to a set of applications in Webtop or even individual applications within it, reflecting numerous options for branding and site consistency.

The following three sections illustrate how Webtop, shown below with Mail and Contacts with the default Silver skin, can be customized to look completely different.

An example of a suite of applications, such as Contacts, Mail, Photos, IM, and Files that share the same skin and have a custom application dock.	Webtop can look more like a traditional website with integrated advertising, news feeds and charting components. It also includes a Laszlo IM application with a custom skin to reflect the rest of the portal design.	Webtop can have a different look for the windows and dock, which, in this example, has a tabbed-like interface. Along with the reskinned Laszlo Contacts and IM applications, this illustration shows these applications integrated with custom applications, which also inherit the look and feel of the Webtop.
