Scalable Architecture

Deliver carrier-grade scalability and reliability with J2EE architecture that supports replication and load-balancing. Mail works with leading IMAP4 mail servers, and supports any web browser enabled with the Flash 8 player or above.

Webtop applications use an advanced asynchronous datapaging model to handle large datasets allowing users to easily sort, scan and traverse hundreds of thousands of email messages, events and contacts very quickly.

SmartObjects™

Webtop supports the concept of an SmartObject, which allows a user to share content between Webtop applications. Based on industry standards like ICS for calendars and VCF for Contacts, you can drag a contact or  appointment into an email address and send it to another user, where it can be copied into another calendar or address book that supports those standards. This also allows a user to add these to their Webtop applications even if they were sent from some other platform. 

Brand and Extend

Not only can providers brand Webtop with CSS styling, but they can also change the colors of components, highlights, background colors, etc., of Mail, Calendar and Contacts. Mail is available in two styles: glosses silver and gold, and Contacts in five: glosses silver, gold, green, blue, purple. Calendar can also be styles using CSS.
