George Shahid, Chief Operating Officer

George Shahid joined Laszlo Systems in 2007, bringing an extensive background in global finance and operations with leading private and public technology companies.

Prior to Laszlo, Shahid spent four years as Chief Operating Officer and CFO of BlueRoads, a SaaS CRM company focused on providing applications for managing revenues through indirect channels. Before BlueRoads, Shahid was Chief Operating Officer and CFO of Portalwave, a web services software company. Additional experience includes spearheading the finance divisions of Loyaltylab Inc and Differential Inc as Chief Financial Officer. Earlier in his career, Shahid held a number of executive positions with Starlight Networks, a leading provider of multimedia networking, as well as with C*ATS software, a global provider of financial risk management software. During Shahid's six year tenure with C*ATS, he was instrumental in helping to successfully execute the company's initial public offering in 1995.

Shahid holds a BS degree in Finance/Business Administration from the California Lutheran University.
