Steve Ciesinski, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President

Steve Ciesinski serves as Laszlo Systems' Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President. His extensive executive management experience in both publicly and privately held high-technology companies covers a wide spectrum of market categories. Under his guidance and leadership, Laszlo Systems has become an influential player in the Web 2.0 movement, attracting a stellar roster of clients and partners.

Prior to joining Laszlo Systems in February 2004, Ciesinski served as president and CEO of Resumix, Inc., a leading supplier of technology-based applications for e-recruiting and human skills management. He led the merger of that company with HotJobs.com (now Yahoo! HotJobs) creating one of the most formidable technology entities in the recruiting industry. Before that, Ciesinski held executive positions at Octel Communications, Applied Materials and Proctor & Gamble.

An active private company investor and advisor in Silicon Valley for over 15 years, Ciesinski serves on a number of public and private boards. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, Union College, and a member of the President's Cabinet of the California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. Ciesinski holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an A.B. in Modern Languages from Union College, and an MBA from Stanford University.
